Weekly Update (November 17th - November 23rd)

Hello FAST families,

Awesome job to all FAST swimmers who competed this weekend at Invitational #1 and to Gillian at the British Down Syndrome Champs! Great to see so many people racing this weekend.

Anyone who has not ordered their holiday wreath, and are still interested, our deadline has been extended to this Wednesday (November 19th). Please get your orders in using the link below!

Please Note:

Parent/Guardian meeting for Aqua 2 postponed to Sunday, November 23rd from 9:15-10:15am during your swimmers' dryland.

Aqua 4 - note the changed Thursday PM practice time this week for this and next week.

Friendly reminder for practices at UNB, to please not park in the wrong direction when dropping off or picking up swimmers. It is getting darker earlier, there are lots of cars and pedestrians around, and we don't need to be taking any risks with your precious cargo :)

2025 FAST / ASF Holiday Wreath Fundraiser

It’s almost that time of the year again! FAST will once again be selling Holiday Wreaths as a fundraiser in partnership with Artistic Swimming Fredericton.

There are 12” circular wreaths, 16” circular wreaths, and 24” Candy Cane shaped wreaths available.

The profit per wreath is $10. Profits from the first 5 wreaths go to FAST, profit from your 6th and up wreaths will be applied as a credit on your FAST account.

FAST Bottle Drive

Swim NB Development Camp

Invitation list for the South region Devo Camp can be found here.

Swimmers are picked for the list based on:

Ages 11-13 years
Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female from each age category (11/12/13) in each of 200 IM, 400 IM, and 400 Free
Pre-season and current season results as of 1 month prior to the camp date - ages 11, 12 or 13 years as of Dec 31, 2024

The Camp will be held on Sunday, November 23^rd at the Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre in Riverview.

An email should be coming out to all invited participant's families with more info on registration.

Tentative schedule as follows:

9:45 Registration

10:00-11:45 Classroom Sessions (Team Building and Goal Setting)

11:45-12:30 Lunch (lunch to be provided)

12:45-3:00 Pool session (Stroke focus)
