National Meets (Tier 3)
These are meets that only our top swimmers have qualified for. These meets are expensive as air travel is often required with several nights overnight stay in some of Canada’s more expensive cities. Chaperones will be required for these meets. The chaperone will travel with the team and be financially responsible for the team while at the meet. This usually involves a cash advance from the treasurer before leaving and using one’s own personal credit card. The treasurer will then reimburse additional expenses on return. Funding will be as indicated for each meet. Additional funds may be available for swimmers attending these meets from SWIM NB. If all the funds available for a meet are not used, they will be made available for subsequent meets within the tier.
